In the fourth season premiere of FBI, titled All That Glitters, a young woman is killed while on her way home from a lavish yacht party. The event was attended by some of the most influential people in the world. Following the incident, the team investigates the identity of the victim and how she managed to attend the exclusive gathering. During the course of the investigation, a murder suspect is identified as a veteran who served on several Army operations with Crosby. In response, Maggie brings Crosby into the investigation to help pursue the lead. This storyline continues as a crossover event that extends into other series, specifically continuing on the third season premiere of FBI Most Wanted, titled Exposed, and concluding on the first season premiere of FBI International, titled Pilot. The episode relies entirely on the investigative efforts of the team as they untangle the circumstances surrounding the young woman's death, connecting the high-society yacht party to the veteran suspect linked to Crosby's past military operations.
