Overview
Fauda is an Israeli television series that tells the story of a team of elite Israeli undercover agents. The series was developed by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, drawing on their experiences in the Israel Defense Forces. It explores the human stories on both sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict. A top Israeli agent comes out of retirement to hunt for a Palestinian militant he thought he'd killed, setting a chaotic chain of events into motion. The series follows the team as they work to apprehend Hamas activists in the West Bank. Fauda has been streaming on Netflix since 2016, with new seasons dropping roughly every two years. The series has been renewed for a fifth season, which will be released on Netflix in 2026. Lior Raz returns in the upcoming season, with new cast additions and a continued exploration of the complex conflict.
