Overview
Covert Affairs is an American action drama television series created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord that premiered on the USA Network on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. The series was filmed in Toronto, Canada, and features Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham in the lead roles, alongside Kari Matchett and Peter Gallagher. The narrative follows Annie Walker, a young CIA operative who is mysteriously summoned to headquarters for duty as a field operative shortly after completing her training at the Farm. While Annie assumes her promotion is due to her exceptional linguistic skills, her superiors may have ulterior motives related to her past. Throughout her assignments, Annie is assisted by Auggie Anderson, a CIA military intelligence agent who was blinded while on duty and serves as her guide through the world of bureaucracy and intrigue. The series ran for five seasons before being canceled by the USA Network on January 6, 2015. The show concluded its initial broadcast run in 2014.
