Overview
Family Affair is an American sitcom that aired on the CBS network. The series was created by Don Fedderson and Edmund L. Hartmann, and it ran for a total of 138 episodes between 1966 and 1971. The premise follows the life of Bill Davis, a wealthy bachelor and civil engineer living in a luxury New York City apartment. His comfortable lifestyle undergoes a significant change when he takes on the responsibility of raising his brother's three orphaned children. The household includes 15-year-old Cissy and 6-year-old twins, Buffy and Jody. Assisting Bill Davis with the care of the children is his traditional English gentleman's gentleman, Mr. Giles French, who also faces personal adjustments while adapting to his new domestic duties. The series features Brian Keith as Bill Davis, Sebastian Cabot as Giles French, Kathy Garver as Cissy, Anissa Jones as Buffy, and Johnny Whitaker as Jody.
