Overview

Evan Straw is a 2010 film that was released in the United States on August 20, 2010, with a runtime of one hour and thirty minutes. Following the death of her husband in an auto accident, Alice Marsh moves far from home to start a new life. She falls in love with an old stone house in Massachusetts built in the seventeen hundreds, which the townspeople refer to as the Evan Straw house. Alice tells her visiting aunt Gert about the history of the house, and both women take it lightly. As time passes, strange occurrences begin happening to Alice inside the building. Eventually, Alice calls in a psychic medium named Leocardia Tomas to attempt to contact the spirit. As the spirit grows increasingly erratic and threatening, a ghost hunter named Peter Ya becomes involved.
