Eureka is an American science fiction television series that premiered on the Sci-Fi Channel on July 18, 2006. The town serves as a secret location where the United States government has relocated the world's greatest geniuses and their families to develop futuristic inventions. The narrative begins when U.S. Marshal Jack Carter crashes his car and becomes stranded in the community. Carter eventually assumes the role of sheriff and finds himself managing the chaos that ensues when the local residents unleash experimental scientific creations.
