Overview
Drifter is a 2023 film that explores the personal development of a young man navigating life in a new environment. The story begins when Moritz moves to Berlin to be with his boyfriend. Shortly after his arrival, his partner abandons him, leaving Moritz to navigate the city on his own. As he finds himself alone in the large urban setting, he begins a journey that exposes him to a wide range of queer experiences. Throughout this process, he connects with a new circle of queer friends. These relationships play a critical role in his development, as they provide him with the space to explore and form his own ideas regarding sexuality and masculinity.
