Overview
Concerned Citizen is a 2022 drama film directed by Idan Haguel with a runtime of one hour and twenty-two minutes. The film centers around Ben, a politically liberal, gay man, and his partner Raz, as they painstakingly pursue their desire to have a child. The gay couple has set up their new flat in a migrant neighbourhood in the slums of south Tel Aviv that is on the up. Ben tries to improve his neighborhood by planting a tree on his street. However, a conflict over this newly planted tree in the city brings deep-seated prejudices to light. The cast of the film includes Shlomi Bertonov, Ariel Wolf, Lena Fraifeld, and Uriah Jablonowsky. The film was released in Israel on July 22, 2022.
