S1·E1164 All alone in the city of the future
Synopsis
Nobita travels to the 22nd century after Doraemon leaves, only to discover a seemingly deserted futuristic city where he encounters anti-gravity tech, strange shops, and what he believes is an alien invasion. He meets Sewashi, who explains everything is actually part of a 3D game called “Intruders,” not a real crisis. Embarrassed but relieved, Nobita learns Doraemon was only temporarily away for repairs. Doraemon later returns, and they go back to the 20th century together, where Nobita immediately wants to keep playing the game.

In this episode, Nobita travels to the 22nd century after Doraemon leaves. Upon arrival, he discovers a seemingly deserted futuristic city. While exploring the area, Nobita encounters anti-gravity technology and strange shops, and he eventually comes to believe that an alien invasion is taking place.
During his time in the futuristic city, Nobita meets Sewashi. Sewashi explains to him that the city is not facing a real crisis at all. Instead, everything Nobita is experiencing is actually part of a three dimensional game called Intruders.
Upon hearing this explanation, Nobita feels embarrassed by his misunderstanding, but he is also greatly relieved. He additionally learns that Doraemon was only temporarily away for repairs. Doraemon later returns, and the two of them go back to the twentieth century together. Once they arrive back, Nobita immediately expresses that he wants to keep playing the game.
