As the fate of the Universe hangs in the balance, the Dalek fleet begins its invasion of Earth. The Doctor faces a critical decision regarding whether to sacrifice every human being on Earth in order to save every other living creature in the universe from the Daleks. Knowing the danger, the Doctor also understands that he must send Rose home. The Doctor is a Time Lord, described as a nine hundred year old alien with two hearts and part of a lineage belonging to the science-fiction television programme.
