Deadly Chase is a 1978 Italian crime film directed by Franco Prosperi. The production was the second of two films directed by Prosperi for producer Pino Buricchi during that year. Filming for the project took place at Incir de Paolis in Rome as well as in Nice. The cast of the film features seventeen actors.
The story follows Police Commissioner Verrazzano, played by actor Luc Merenda, as he receives a visit from Giulia Medici, portrayed by Janet Agren. Giulia Medici claims that her brother, a banker named Valter Medici, did not commit suicide as reported, but was instead murdered. As the Commissioner begins his official investigation into the death, he uncovers dark secrets involving local loan sharks. The film has a runtime of one hour and thirty minutes and was released in Italy on December 8, 1978.
