Synopsis
Horatio, Speedle and Calleigh root through the evidence in the homocide of a strange, and unorthodox college professor when they find him tied to a tree. Elsewhere, Delko and Megan investigate a car found in the water with a dead body in the trunk, and immediately suspect an insurance scam.

In this episode of CSI: Miami, Horatio, Speedle, and Calleigh investigate the homicide of an unorthodox and strange college professor whose body is found tied to a tree. The team roots through the evidence to uncover the circumstances surrounding the professor's death. Elsewhere in the city, Delko and Megan investigate a car that is found in the water with a dead body discovered inside the trunk. Upon examining this separate incident, Delko and Megan immediately suspect that the vehicle's submergence is connected to an insurance scam. The investigators of the Miami-Dade Police Department utilize physical evidence to work through these respective cases.
