In the first case, a man dies in front of a casino while driving a vehicle with a wooden stake in his head. Grissom and Nick work on this investigation to discover the identity of the vampire killer. In the second case, Warrick and Catherine hunt for the person responsible for killing the five year old son of an NBA star.
