Synopsis
Det. Sgt. Shorrocks of the CID interviews Emily and Doreen. They are reluctant to give a description of the good-looking robber. Ken suspects Frank of being up to something. Mavis Fox calls at No.11 to visit Dennis' grandmother. Elsie plays along as the cleaner. Mr Papagopolous is pleased that the stock was stolen as it was old stock that couldn't sell and was insured. Elsie demands that Dennis tells Mavis the truth. Frank tells Ken he plans to leave the GPO and buy a DIY shop. Dennis can't bring himself to tell Mavis.

Detective Sergeant Shorrocks of the CID conducts interviews with Emily and Doreen, though both women display reluctance when it comes to providing a description of the good-looking robber. Meanwhile, Ken has suspicions that Frank is up to something. Frank later informs Ken about his plans to leave the GPO in order to buy a DIY shop.
At number eleven, Mavis Fox arrives to pay a visit to Dennis' grandmother. During this visit, Elsie plays along by pretending to be the cleaner. Mr Papagopolous is pleased about the theft of the stock, viewing it as a positive development because it was old stock that he had been unable to sell and was insured. Following the visit, Elsie demands that Dennis tell Mavis the truth, but Dennis finds himself unable to bring himself to tell Mavis the truth.
