Synopsis
Minnie realises that Jed hasn't had his breakfast, intending her to have it because he's behind with his rent. Martha has heard from Elsie that Christine has a new man. In the Corner Shop, Albert unwittingly helps spread the gossip and pushes Elsie for details.

In this episode of Coronation Street, Minnie makes a realization regarding Jed and his breakfast. She discovers that Jed has not eaten his breakfast because he intends for her to have it instead, as he has fallen behind with his rent payments. Elsewhere, Martha receives news from Elsie that Christine has acquired a new man. Gossip surrounding this development spreads further when Albert unwittingly contributes to it while inside the corner shop, where he proceeds to push Elsie for additional details about the situation.
