During the episode broadcast on Wednesday, 7 March 1962, Dennis causes chaos after selling more tickets than there are seats available, resulting in an over-booked concert. Ena discovers that the booked performers, known as the Blue Streak Rockets, were banned, and the police subsequently inform them that they are not allowed to perform. Dennis is ultimately forced to cancel the concert, which causes an uproar among the audience. Ena locks the piano lid, but Minnie manages to open it using a hair pin and entertains the four hundred attendees with constant renditions of Goodbye, Dolly Gray. Meanwhile, Captain Johnson and his troupe experience a vehicle breakdown, though they manage to send their sealions, Bunny and Sherry, ahead. Following the cancellation, Dennis is left stuck for the night with the banned Rockets and the sealions. He obtains the key to the Rovers from Concepta and installs his unusual guests inside the pub. Elsewhere, the Walkers attend a Brewery Dance with plans to stay the night in a plush hotel. However, when the Walkers return home unexpectedly, they find sealions occupying their bath and the Rockets sleeping in their bed. Additionally, Ena spends part of the evening getting drunk with the Rockets.
