Overview
"Chobits" is a television series set in a world where humanoid computers called persocoms are prevalent in Tokyo. These persocoms are virtually perfect and highly sought after. The main character, a socially and technologically inept individual, is eager to acquire one. He finds a persocom, referred to as Chii, in a trash heap. Chii is notable for being cuter than current persocom models. Upon bringing Chii home and turning her on, it becomes apparent that she lacks data and has only a single learning program installed. The main character dedicates himself to teaching Chii about humanity, which leads to the discovery of a mystery within her. A dark secret within Chii begins to emerge as she learns more about the world.
