Overview

Carnival Row is an American Victorian fantasy television series that premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Created by Travis Beacham and René Echevarria, the show features a cast including Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Simon McBurney, and Tamzin Merchant. The story is set in a mystical city inhabited by humans, fairies, and other creatures. The plot follows a police detective who investigates a series of gruesome murders targeting the fairy population. During the course of this investigation, the detective becomes the prime suspect and must identify the actual killer to clear his name. Additionally, the narrative explores a dangerous affair between a human detective and a fairy as the city's uneasy peace collapses due to the revelation of an unimaginable monster. The series, which is an Amazon Original production, began its first season on August 30, 2019. It was later renewed for a second season, which premiered on February 17, 2023. The show concluded its run on March 17, 2023, serving as the final season of the series.
