Cagney and Lacey: Together Again is a television movie released in the United States on May 2, 1995. The crime and drama film has a runtime of one hour and thirty-two minutes. The story features New York detectives who re-team to solve the murder of a homeless transient. The victim had been terrorizing residents of a posh apartment building with screaming threats, insults, and physical intimidation. While other police officers believe the culprit is another street person, Cagney and Lacey investigate the possibility that the real killer is one of the building tenants, many of whom had ample reason to murder the boorish bum. Thirty years after the television crime drama series began, its two stars, Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless, also appeared together again for an anniversary event at the British Film Institute.
