Synopsis
On very rare occasions do you find a witness to a murder. CID this time has a witness to a murder, who was close enough to see everything and brave enough to not run away. A little girl who witnesses a brutal murder but the trauma was too much for her to handle, she has gone mute since the murder. The officers struggle to get anything out of her. How does CID tackle this sensitive situation?

In season one, episode five hundred eighty-six of C.I.D., titled Nanhi Gavah, the team faces a very rare situation involving a murder witness. Most of the time, witnesses to a crime are difficult to find, but in this case, the CID officers locate someone who was close enough to see everything and brave enough not to run away.
However, this crucial witness is a little girl who witnessed a brutal murder firsthand. The trauma of the event proves to be too much for her to handle, and she has gone completely mute since the murder took place. Because of her condition, the officers struggle to get anything out of her regarding the crime. The episode follows the team as they attempt to tackle this sensitive situation and figure out how to work around the young girl's trauma to solve the case.
