Synopsis
It's Navratri season, and Aditya and his girlfriend Nisha are playing Dandiya when someone suddenly shoots Aditya amidst the large crowd. Upon investigation CID find out that Nisha's brother was against their relationship and had given a gangster called Tiger the order to kill Aditya- but Tiger claims that Aditya was already dead when he went there to kill him. Further investigation reveals that Aditya had an affair with a girl called Trupti, whose boyfriend had also given the order to kill Aditya to a different gangster. But this gangster was reportedly shot dead in front of the same Dandiya ground, long before Aditya was killed. Who is the true culprit?

Season one, episode five hundred eighty-five of C.I.D., titled Khooni Dandiya, is set during the Navratri season. The story begins when Aditya and his girlfriend Nisha are playing Dandiya. Amidst the large crowd, someone suddenly shoots Aditya.
Upon investigation, the C.I.D. team finds out that Nisha's brother was against their relationship. He had given a gangster named Tiger the order to kill Aditya. However, when questioned, Tiger claims that Aditya was already dead by the time he arrived there to carry out the hit.
Further investigation by the C.I.D. reveals that Aditya had an affair with a girl named Trupti. Trupti's boyfriend had also given an order to kill Aditya, though he hired a different gangster for the job. Complicating the case further, this second gangster was reportedly shot dead in front of the very same Dandiya ground long before Aditya was actually killed. The investigation then centers on uncovering the true culprit behind these overlapping plots.
