Blue Orchestra is a television series that premiered in 2023. The series is based on a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Akui. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app since April 2017. An anime television series adaptation produced by Nippon Animation aired. The story revolves around Hajime Aono, a violin prodigy, who stopped playing violin for personal reasons. He gets to know a girl who tells him about a high school with a prestigious school orchestra, which motivates him to start playing again. The high school orchestra begins preparations for the national competition, with some members more motivated than others, leading to discord over how the pieces should be played. The series features voice acting by Shoya Chiba, Ai Kakuma, Shimba Tsuchiya, and Minako Sato.
