In the film, O'Keefe plays a GI who falls in love with Mara Lane. Lane kills her boss, which forces her to flee the law. O'Keefe joins her on the run to avoid being eliminated by Lane's husband. Just when it appears that O'Keefe is prepared to go to any lengths to protect the woman he loves, he discovers that she frankly is not worth it.
