Aikatsu Stars! 2016

Overview

Aikatsu Stars! is a television series that follows the journey of Yume Nijino as she pursues her ambition of becoming a top idol. To achieve this goal, she enrolls in the Yotsuboshi Gakuen, also known as Four Stars Academy. This educational institution is distinguished by the presence of the S4, a special group comprised of the four most prominent active idols currently attending the school. The narrative centers on Yume and her fellow first-year students as they work toward their collective objective of earning a position within the S4. The broader Aikatsu! franchise, which includes this series, originated from a collectible card game produced by Bandai for its Data Carddass line of arcade machines. The franchise is managed by a production committee involving entities such as BNArts, Dentsu, and TV Tokyo. This series serves as part of the ongoing multimedia project that explores the world of idol activity and performance training, building upon the established themes of the original Aikatsu! property.
