The story centers on two neighboring kings who are addicted to gambling, named Ranjit and his cousin Sohat. Both kings vie for the same beautiful young woman, Sunita, who is the daughter of the hermit Kanwa. The drama, adventure, and romance feature has a runtime of one hour and fourteen minutes, and its US release date is listed as January 4, 1930. Franz Osten made nineteen films in India between 1926 and 1939, and A Throw of Dice formed the final part of a trilogy of Indo-German productions.
