Biography

Zhou Dongyu is a Chinese actress born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. She made her acting debut in Zhang Yimou's film "Under the Hawthorn Tree" (2010), receiving critical acclaim. Her performances in several films have earned her numerous awards, including the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress for her role in "Soul Mate" (2016) and the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress and the Golden Rooster Award for Best Actress for her role in "Better Days" (2019). Zhou is recognized as one of the "Four" in the Chinese film industry.
