Biography

Yuko Takeuchi was a Japanese actress born on April 1, 1980, in Saitama, Japan. She began her acting career with a role in the 1996 Fuji TV series Cyborg. Her breakthrough came with the NHK Asadora series Asuka in 1999, which brought her widespread recognition. She starred in numerous television shows and films, including Pride, FlashForward, Miss Sherlock, Ring, Yomigaeri, and Dog in a Sidecar. Takeuchi was married to actor Shido Nakamura from 2005 to 2008 and later to Taiki Nakabayashi, whom she married in 2019. She died on September 27, 2020, at her home in Tokyo.
