Yoshiko Tanaka was a Japanese actress born in Adachi, Tokyo, Japan on April 8, 1956. She was also a member of the pop group Candies, known by the nickname "Sue" during her time in the group. Tanaka's acting credits include a role in Godzilla vs. Biollante, where she portrayed Asuka Okouchi. She won the award for best actress at the 14th Hochi Film Award for her work in Black Rain. Tanaka married golfer Kazuo Odate in 1991 and was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She passed away on April 21, 2011, at the age of 55.
