Biography
Megumi Odaka is a Japanese actress and voice actress born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan on May 9, 1972. She began her career in 1984 as a voice actress for the animated television series Fushigi na koala Blinky, also known as Noozles and The Wondrous Koala Blinky, in which she played the character Sandy Brown. In 1987, she began her film career at Toho in the movie Taketori Monogatari, also known as Princess from the Moon, playing the blind girl Akeno alongside Yasuko Sawaguchi as the princess Kaguya. She later starred as Asuka in the 1988 television series Hana no Asuka-gumi, also known as Radiant Asuka Class, alongside Natsuki Ozawa and Hikari Ishida. Her subsequent television work included a role in the NHK series Seishun kazoku.
