Biography
Winston Chao is a Taiwanese actor born on 9 June 1960. He gained international recognition for his performance in the 1993 film The Wedding Banquet. Chao has also appeared in notable films including Red Rose White Rose, Eat Drink Man Woman, The Soong Sisters, Road to Dawn, and 1911. His television work includes adaptations of Cao Yu's play Thunderstorm and Ba Jin's novel Cold Nights, as well as the historical dramas Palace of Desire, Da Tang Fu Rong Yuan, and the biographical mini-series The Legend of Eileen Chang.
