Biography
Valerie Chow is a former Hong Kong actress, fashion publicist, and entrepreneur. She is a former Miss Hong Kong runner-up, having placed in 1991. Chow is also notable for being the first Chinese model to be signed by US cosmetics company Revlon in 1998. She has appeared in numerous films and television series, including a 1994 feature by Wong Kar-wai. Her performance in this film earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 14th Hong Kong Film Awards. Chow has since transitioned to a career in fashion publicist and entrepreneurship, opening a children's designer concept store in Hong Kong in 2010.
