Biography
Tatyana Marisol Ali is an American actress and singer born on January 24, 1979. She began her acting career at age six as a regular performer on the PBS children's educational program Sesame Street. Her early experience in the entertainment industry also included an appearance on Star Search at age seven. Ali is best known for her role as Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Her background includes various productions in New York, such as the off-Broadway show Orfeo del Campo and the Broadway production of Fences, where she performed alongside James Earl Jones and Billy Dee Williams. She began singing at the age of four.
