T.J. Miller is an American actor and stand-up comedian born on June 4, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, USA. After college, he moved to Chicago and began performing improv and stand-up comedy, touring with The Second City for two years. He was named one of Variety's "10 Comics To Watch" in 2008. Miller made his film acting debut in Cloverfield in 2008, where he appeared on screen for a few minutes but had his voice heard in almost every scene. He has also appeared in The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard and Extract, playing the roles of Cessna Jim and a grindcore musician named Rory.
