Sydney Walker was an American character actor of stage and screen and a voice artist with a career spanning over five decades. He is best known for his role in Prelude to a Kiss as the elderly man whose body Meg Ryan's character switches with, and as the bus driver in Mrs. Doubtfire. Walker made his Broadway debut as the Archbishop of Canterbury in the 1960 production of Jean Anouilh's Beckett, which starred Laurence Olivier and Anthony Quinn. He subsequently appeared in 22 Broadway productions from 1960 to 1973. His film credits include his movie debut in A Lovely Way to Die starring Kirk Douglas, playing the doctor in Love Story, and making appearances on the CBS Radio Mystery Theater.
