Sofie Torp is a Danish actress born on January 16, 1990, in Aarhus, Denmark. She graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2016 and began her career in film and television in the late 2010s. She achieved widespread critical recognition in 2019 for her role as Anita in the drama film Held for Ransom, also known as Ser du månen, Daniel. This performance earned her both the Bodil Award and the Robert Award for Best Supporting Actress. Subsequently, she starred in the 2020 drama film Wildland and joined the Department Q crime film series, portraying the recurring character Rose in The Marco Effect in 2021 and Boundless in 2024.
