He attended the Berkley School of Music in Boston and studied privately with Miroslav Vitous, the bass player for Weather Report. Elobar is best known for playing the role of Big Brayden in the absurdist horror film The Greasy Strangler, as well as for his other collaborations with director Jim Hosking.
