Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress and singer born on March 3, 1987, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is the daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor and primarily works in Hindi-language cinema. Recognized as one of the highest-paid actresses in India, she has been featured on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list annually since 2014. Additionally, she was included in the 2016 Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list. Prior to beginning her professional acting career, Kapoor pursued theatre studies at Boston University, though she left the institution after her first year to focus on her work in the film industry.
