Rajkummar Rao Yadav is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. Born on August 31, 1984, in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, he is also known by the names Raj Kumar Yadav, Raj kumar Rao, and Rajkumar Rao. After graduating, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a film career. He made his film debut in the 2010 experimental anthology film Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Following brief roles in several highly successful Hindi films over the next two years, he achieved success with his breakout role in the 2013 drama film Kai Po Che!, earning a Best Supporting Actor nomination at Filmfare. Later that same year, he received both a Filmfare Award and a National Film Award for Best Actor.
