Sharma is also a Backstage expert contributing writer with over fifty published advice articles for actors and the author of the book Commercial Acting in L.A.: A Session Director’s Guide, which is available at Samuel French and online. Furthermore, Sharma works as an on-camera acting teacher and private coach at two Los Angeles studios, including the Shaan Sharma On-Camera Acting Studio and the Westside On-Camera Acting Studio, which was co-founded in partnership with veteran casting director Gabriel.
