Sandra Milo, born Salvatrice Elena Greco on March 11, 1933, in Tunis, was an Italian actress, television personality, author, and musician. She made her film debut in 1955 alongside Alberto Sordi in The Bachelor. Her first major role came in 1959 in General della Rovere, directed by Roberto Rossellini and secured through producer Moris Ergas. She also appeared in Rossellini's film Vanina Vanini. Milo won a Silver Ribbon best supporting actress award for each of her roles in Federico Fellini's films 8½ and Juliet of the Spirits. Following her marriage, she retired from her acting career. She passed away on January 29, 2024, in Rome.
