Biography
Sam Heughan is a Scottish actor who graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2003. He was nominated for a 2003 Laurence Olivier Award for Outlying Islands at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs. He has appeared in various TV programmes and films, including A Very British Sex Scandal, Any Human Heart, and Young Alexander The Great. He has also performed in theatre productions such as Plague Over England, MacBeth, Romeo And Juliet, and Hamlet. He is best known for his starring role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz drama series Outlander, for which he has won awards including the People's Choice Award and the Saturn Award.
