Biography
Robert Gilbert is a dual citizen of England and the United States. He works in both countries, performing on stage in various productions including those with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the West End, Lincoln Center in New York, and Shakespeare In The Park. Gilbert also releases music under the name Captain Backfire and writes for other artists through the publishing house Notting Hill. He has directed and written the screenwriting debut 'Real Thirsty', which stars Bryan Cranston and Joely Richardson.
