Rıza Kocaoğlu is a Turkish actor born and raised in Izmir on March 19, 1979. His family is of Turkish origin, with members who immigrated from Thessaloniki and a part of the family hailing from Erivan, Kars. He has an actress sister named Gözde Kocaoğlu. He graduated from the theater department at Dokuz Eylül University and has worked in cinema since 2001. As a big and small screen actor, he is known for his roles in the films Hunting Season and Losers' Club. His popular recurring television roles include appearances in Ezel in 2009, Kuzey Güney in 2011, Karadayi in 2012, Filinta in 2014, Insider in 2016, and The Pit in 2017.
