Rebecca Maria Hall, born 3 May 1982 in London, England, is an English actress and filmmaker. She first appeared on screen at age ten in the 1992 television adaptation of The Camomile Lawn, which was directed by her father, Sir Peter Hall. Hall made her professional stage debut in her father's 2002 production of Mrs. Warren's Profession, a performance that earned her the Ian Charleson Award. Her film debut came with Starter for 10 in 2006, and the same year she gained wider recognition in Christopher Nolan’s thriller The Prestige. In 2008 she portrayed Vicky in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona, receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.
