Ahmir Khalib Thompson, who is also known professionally as Questlove, ?uestlove, BROther ?uestion, Questo, and Brother Question, was born on January 20, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an American drummer, DJ, music journalist, and record producer, and he has a known total of 116 acting credits. He is best known as the drummer for the Grammy Award-winning band The Roots, which functions as the in-house band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. In addition to his work with The Roots, he has produced for artists including Common, D'Angelo, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Bilal, Jay-Z, Nikka Costa, Al Green, Amy Winehouse, and John Legend. Furthermore, he is a member of the production teams the Soulquarians, The Randy Watson Experience, and The Grand Wizzards.
