Biography
Priyadarshan is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter with a career spanning over two decades. He has directed more than 80 films across several Indian languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. While his career began in Malayalam cinema in 1984, he has been primarily active in Hindi cinema for the last decade. Although he is best known for his work in the comedy genre, he has also directed action and thriller films. During the 1980s and 1990s, he gained popularity for his collaborations with actor Mohanlal on Malayalam films such as Boeing Boeing, Thalavattam, Vellanakalude Nadu, Chithram, Vandanam, Kilukkam, Abhimanyu, Mithunam, and Thenmavin Kombath.
