Philip Anderson Lord was born on July 12, 1975, in Miami, Florida. He is an American filmmaker who works with his filmmaking partner Christopher Miller. Together, they are the creators and co-stars of the adult animated sitcom Clone High, which ran from 2002 to 2003 and returned from 2023 to 2024. Lord and Miller wrote and directed the animated films Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 2009 and The Lego Movie in 2014. They also directed the live-action comedy film 21 Jump Street in 2012 and its sequel, 22 Jump Street, in 2014. The duo is best known for their work on the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie, and Spider-Verse film series.
