Paul Scheer is a male actor born on January 31, 1976, in Huntington, New York, USA. He attended St. Anthony's High School in Huntington and studied communication and education at New York University. Scheer began his comedy career with the Upright Citizens Brigade, a sketch comedy troupe based in New York City, and appeared in television and film roles, including a recurring role on the MTV sketch comedy series Human Giant. He co-created and starred in the Adult Swim comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV:: and has had recurring roles on ABC's Fresh Off the Boat and HBO's Veep. Scheer is also known for voicing Chip Whistler in Disney's Big City Greens.

Following his graduation from NYU, Scheer began his comedy career with the Upright Citizens Brigade, a sketch comedy troupe based in New York City.
Scheer expanded his career into television and film roles. He appeared in the MTV sketch comedy series Human Giant and had a recurring role on the same network. His television credits also include recurring roles on ABC's Fresh Off the Boat and HBO's Veep, as well as providing the voice for Chip Whistler in Disney's Big City.
In addition to his acting work, Scheer has co-created television projects. In 2009, he co-created and starred in the Adult Swim comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV::, which ran for three seasons and achieved critical and commercial success. He also co-created and starred in a comedy series for FX and FXX, and he and his real-life spouse executive produce an Amazon improvised multi-camera sitcom titled Dinks created with Marta Kauffman.
