Parvesh Singh Cheena is an American character actor born on July 22, 1979, in Elk Grove, Illinois. He grew up in Naperville, Illinois, where he attended Waubonsie Valley High School. Cheena studied musical theatre at the Chicago College of Performing Arts and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. In television, he plays the role of Gupta in the NBC Universal series Outsourced. His first feature film role was as Samir in Barbershop, a character he reprised in the 2004 sequel Barbershop 2: Back in Business. His additional film credits include The Ode, The Other End of the Line, and the 2007 film Because I Said So.
