Onur Ünlü is a Turkish film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, poet, and musician born on June 24, 1973, in Kocaeli, Turkey. He studied Communication Arts at Anadolu University and earned a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Marmara University. In 2006, he co-founded the production company Eflatun Film alongside Orkun Ünlü and Funda Alp. That same year, he wrote, directed, and produced his debut feature film, Polis. Ünlü is widely recognized for his work in television, most notably as the creator and director of the surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun, which he oversaw from 2011 to 2013. He is also known for directing the surreal drama series Şubat. He is sometimes known by the name Ah Muhsin Ünlü.
